Sports Therapy
Sports therapy is an element of healthcare that is mostly concerned with injury treatment, rehabilitation, and the prevention of possible injuries. This practice is suitable for all, regardless of age and ability, aiming to get patients back to a peak level of functional, occupational and sport specific fitness.

This discipline is a scientific approach that utilises the key principles surrounding sports and exercise science and rehabilitation practices. It looks to incorporate physiological and pathological processes to best educate and prepare the patient for their training or recovery journey.
Meet Me...

This maybe one of the cheesiest lines for someone in an athletic occupation to say however its very true… I have always had a passion for sports and competing. I love the feeling of playing with a team and sharing your success. I am a very enthusiastic and active person, I am also someone who loves a challenge and being able to have a positive impact on someone’s life, this has led me to compete in various sporting events, climb Kilimanjaro, road trip around Europe and Norway. Most recently starting my own business.
I am a professional Sports Therapist having completed a Foundation degree (FdSc) from Plymouth Marjon University. I then went on to complete my Bachelors (BSc) in Sports Rehabilitation from Plymouth University. I gained a number of different manual therapy techniques that allow me to treat and mobilise a wide range of different injuries and continuously developing knowledge around rehabilitation principles and practice. Enabling me to strengthen clients and ensure that they remain injury and symptom free.
I have 4 years worth of professional experience and throughout my career I have completed a number of continued professional development courses, to ensure I stay up to date with current concepts. My favourite course has been Medical Acupuncture & dry needling, I was fascinated by the traditional Chinese medicine and amazed at its effectiveness.
Recently I have spent time in Singapore with Netball Ireland supporting the team as they played their way through the Singapore Nations Cup. I am grateful to have been asked back so will be heading of in June 2025, as they take part in the UAE Nations Cup in Dubai.
